IA or OIA: One of the most magnificent villages
of the island with marvelous sansets.

ÉÌÅROVIGLI: The so called "elyte or high
society" area near Fira.

AKROTIRI: Not far from the ancient sites at
Akrotiri, is the red beach with the same name.
ÊÁÌÁRI: The beautiful black sandy of Kamari stretches for
five miles in length along the eastern coast of the island.
ÌÏNOLITHOS: Just north of Kamari and on
eastern coast is the beach of Monolithos. Here you will find more
peace and quiet than other Santorini beaches.
OIA: Ammoudi and Armeni are two beautiful which
are frequented by visitors to Oia, that fascinating town built on
the edge of a cliff. Ammoudi is situated directly below Oia on
thenorthwest tip of the island while Armeni is a little further
on.
PERISSA: An aray of water sports is available at
Perissa (water skiing, windsurfing and paddle boats), one of the
most popular beaches on the island.
PERIVOLOS: Another of the quiet variety beaches
on the island with small tavernas and rooms to let opposite the
beach. It is located on the southern tip of the island. Sport
facilities.
VLIHADA: Also in the Perivolos area, this beach
as well offers a perfect spot for those wishing to avoid the big
crowds.
RED BEACH: You can reach this red vulcanic sand
place from Akrotiri just by walking 1,5 kilometres.

On the island there is a variety of Greek taverns and
restaurants, snack bars, cafeterias, and even fast food places.

Night Life
There is a great vatiety of pubs, bars, mysic clubs, restaurants
and cafeterias, to please every taste and mood. Suggested for

Bus service within
the island
Frequent bus transportation is available for throughout the
island, connecting all the villages of Santorini with Fira. Bus
service from Fira to: Oia, Karterados, Messaria, Kamari, Pirgos,
Emborio, Perissa, Megalochori, Akrotiri, Athinios. From Athinios
to Kamari, Perissa, Fira, Messaria and Monolithos. From
Vourvoulos Fira to Pirgos, Emborio and Perissa.
